Hope for the marginalized in Kenya

New Dawn Ministries of Hope is a USA nonprofit 501(c)3 which partners with New Dawn Samburu Ministry and Rescue Center in Kenya by sending funds in a safe and accountable way as well as provide information to potential donors in the US.
Friends in the US have connected with Bishop Peter Lesurai in the Samburu region of Kenya who, through his ministry there, has been creating a future of hope for marginalized women, men, and children in Northern Kenya
Below is a report from the principal of the school where many marginalized girls have been able to attend classes, helping them to escape the devastation of poverty, forced marriage, and female genital mutilation.
New Dawn Ministries of Hope has funded:
School expenses for youth in poverty
US donors have provided the costs of school for many impoverished girls and boys. Young girls are often forced into early marriage and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) unless rescued to attend school. If their school finances dry up, they are once again at risk.
Microbusiness start-up costs
Donations from New Dawn Ministries of Hope have helped with expenses to start a small business.For example, a group of women make and sell jewelry but often can’t afford to buy the supplies. These small businesses are self-empowering and self-sustainable.
Medical Support
Many have no resources to pay for even the basics of medical assistance. This boy is an orphan and impoverished.
Food for starving people
Many depend on menial jobs, working for their neighbors for as little as $1 per day. If they can’t find work, they don’t eat. New Dawn Ministries of Hope has been able to provide funds for feeding programs.
Through God’s Grace, we Can Impact Their Future, and We’re Doing Something About It
“Learn to do good.
Seek justice.
Help the oppressed.
Defend the cause of orphans.
Fight for the rights of widows.
