New Dawn School Is Open!

After much time of prayer and some generous donations, a new building has been erected and the school opened.

The school hosts the Nov 2022 Girls Health Seminar

Students are excited to attend classes

An outdoor kitchen is open to feed the children.

But there are many more needs.

An indoor kitchen is important

Funds are needed to provide for an indoor kitchen. The children need food but the facility in the picture is inadequate and could be unsafe in the long run. Contamination of the food could be an issue.

Food support is an important issue for New Dawn School. A simple kitchen could be built using metal sheets and studs inside the school building.

A simple room, including tables, would be used to prepare meals for the students. The cost of a kitchen for the school is estimated at $1200. Please pray for this need.

Needed: support for the school staff

Mangelin – mentor and cook

Mangelin, age 20, works as the children’s mentor and cook. Her supervisors describe her as “a wonderful young woman who takes care of our kids.”

Please pray for her monthly support. She is trusting God to provide $200 per month as she works for the children.

Joshua – School Caretaker

Joshua, 25, is a hardworking young man who takes care of all security matters at the school. He has three children and helps both at night and during the day at the school.

He could use $150 per month to continue to work at the school. Please pray for him and his family.

Students who need help

Suzan

Suzan is an 8-year-old orphan. Her mother died delivering her. Suzan is wearing her only clothes and is need of clothes and shoes. Please pray for this needy little girl.

Her monthly support would be $60-100 per month.

Akuwam Jane

Akuwan Jane is 11 years and from a very poor background. Her mother cleans other people’s homes when that work is available and also does laundry for others to provide food for her children. The funds for buying school materials, books, uniforms and paper is very difficult. Please pray for Akuwan Jane and her family.

Her support would be $50-100 per month.
